THE ChARLIE MIKE SERIES

Transitioning from military to civilian life is often a difficult time for Veterans. Many Veterans face isolation, a loss of purpose, and mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

That is why we created the Charlie Mike Series — inspired from the military phrase Continue the Mission.

Clinical research suggests that movement, purpose, and community are essential for Veterans’ mental health. And that’s what our Charlie Mike Series delivers.

movement

The physical challenge of the mountains sharpens focus, builds strength, and restores resilience.

purpose

Goals like Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp, or Rainier give Veterans a renewed mission to pursue.

community

Shared struggle and success rebuild camaraderie and remind Veterans that they are never alone.

pay it forward

When you climb with High Ground Expeditions, you help power the Charlie Mike Series.

A portion of every expedition’s proceeds supports Veteran participation. In addition, our Pay It Forward option lets you contribute extra toward a Veteran’s climb. 100% of these donations are used to reduce the costs for Veterans. Once enough funds are raised, we sponsor Veterans on upcoming climbs through the Charlie Mike Series.

Your journey helps create theirs. Together, we continue the mission.
