Our Story
High Ground Expeditions was founded by a Veteran of the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division, a unit forged in mountain warfare and defined by grit. Years of service and life in the mountains shaped the belief that pushing for the summit restores clarity, builds strength, and creates purpose.
Before launching High Ground Expeditions, our founder led all veteran affairs for a Fortune 100 company, building programs and initiatives that supported thousands of service members, Veterans, and military families.
That experience shaped the core values of High Ground Expeditions: purpose, community, and resilience.
We aim to share those values by connecting people from all backgrounds to the world’s great peaks, while creating opportunities that directly support the veteran community through meaningful, purpose-driven expeditions.
